Peak Preparation Seminar #4 - Optimising Sleep in Young Athletes

We are pleased to bring our members the fourth installment of the Seminars with Dr Sacha Fulton from Peak Preparation, which are held in conjunction with Kwinana Swimming Club.

In Seminar #4, Sacha will be unlocking the potential of sleep in enhancing athletic performance in young athletes.

Dr Fulton’s sleep optimization curriculum covers the importance of sleep cycles, quality rest, and the impact of sleep on cognitive functions and physical recovery. Learn how to create an ideal sleep environment and routine to ensure athletes are well-rested and competition-ready.

  • Sleep science

  • Why sleep is important

  • Consequences of sleep deprivation

  • Barriers for a good nights’ sleep

  • Enhancing sleep hygiene
